Toriel is an eight foot tall red-eyed goat woman whose appearance registers immediately as "Mom-like." She's almost always seen with a friendly smile on her face and a positive, welcoming demeanor. Like some moms, she is very round, and like other moms, she is very strong, possessing both a large belly and thick, powerful arms.
Her non-human traits are many, as she is a monster - she has large five-fingered paws instead of hands, toe beans on each paw, and her long feet consist of three toes. She has a fluffy "beard" of fur under her chin and her neck is somewhat elongated from her shoulders, like a goat's. She is quite obviously furry, somewhat like a rabbit. She has two small, curved horns on the top of her head, reflecting a rare sexual dimorphism among monsters. She also has very long, hare-like ears, which often hang low over her shoulders, as well as an elongated snout.
Fashion: Example
Toriel wears a long purple robe with white sleeves emblazoned with the "Delta Rune," an important symbol for her people. She has no other accessories or, at the current time, other outfits.
Aural: Based on her talk sounds in-game, Toriel has a gentle, medium-pitched voice. Like Asgore, it's somewhat low and baritone, but still distinctly feminine. She has an accent and a cadence that is very formal and very much like a English queen, as indicated by her almost never using contractions. To put it another way, she sounds like if your mother was also, literally, the queen of England.
Demeanor: To the majority of people, particularly children, very friendly and approachable. Very much like she's going to start mothering you any minute, even if you're a fully-grown adult. Deeply cares about your well-being, but also deeply moral - her irritation and anger will show if you've ever done anything to harm anyone else, especially children.
Scent: Smells somewhat like floral perfume. How does she do it without acccess to perfume? It Is A Mystery
Mental: Has an long memory dating back over a thousand years. Most of it is boring, as it involves her watching over what appears to be an ancient, trap-filled ruin. But a lot of her mental focus is on remembering the loss of her children - Chara's death by butterscotch poisoning, Asriel's death at the hands of humans, and the Six Souls killed by Asgore. She feels deep guilt and regret that she was responsible for all their deaths, even indirectly.
Before her memories of the ruins, something else that's also at the forefront of her mind, is her old life. Married to Asgore Dreemurr, a large goat man like her, she possessed two other children, named Chara and Asriel, who played often together. She cared for Chara as if they were her own child, she loved Asriel deeply, and she (for a long time) loved Asgore.

Soul Information: For those who can detect souls, Toriel's soul seems extremely strange. It takes the shape of an upside-down white heart and it seems very fragile and weak compared to a normal soul, even though it is much stronger than the average monster soul.
